Job Overview:
As the Chief Learning Officer (CLO), you will be the visionary leader responsible for designing, developing, and scaling a startup unit specializing in online learning, certification programs, and digital libraries. You will spearhead innovative learning strategies, foster partnerships, and ensure the delivery of high-quality educational content that meets global industry standards. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive learning strategy aligned with the organization’s goals and target market needs.
- Position the unit as a leading provider of cutting-edge online courses, certifications, and library solutions.
- Build partnerships with academic institutions, certification bodies, and industry leaders to expand the unit’s reach and credibility.
- Oversee the design and delivery of online learning programs and certifications that cater to diverse industries.
- Curate and maintain a robust digital library with up-to-date resources, including eBooks, research papers, and video content.
- Ensure that all programs are accessible, scalable, and meet international accreditation standards.
- Leverage technology platforms (e.g., LMS/LXP, AI-driven learning systems) to create an engaging and interactive learning experience.
- Stay ahead of industry trends to incorporate emerging technologies like AR/VR, gamification, and adaptive learning into the curriculum.
- Implement data analytics tools to track learner engagement, performance, and satisfaction.

Technical Skills:
- Expertise in designing curriculum and online learning modules using tools like Articulate, Captivate, or similar platforms.
- Proficiency in LMS platforms such as Moodle, Blackboard, or Canvas.
- Ability to source, curate, and organize digital library resources effectively.
- Familiarity with analytics tools to measure learning outcomes and optimize programs.
- Knowledge of AR/VR, AI-driven learning solutions, and gamification techniques to enhance learner engagement.
Functional Expertise:
- Proven ability to create scalable learning models that cater to diverse learner needs.
- Strong understanding of certification processes and accreditation standards.
- Experience in monetizing learning programs through subscription models, partnerships, and corporate training solutions.
- Skilled in stakeholder management, with the ability to collaborate across teams and secure buy-in for initiatives.

Basic Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education, Instructional Design, Business, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience in learning and development, instructional design, or a similar field, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Demonstrated success in building and scaling online learning platforms or certification programs.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
