Job Overview:

As the Chief Production Officer (CPO), you will oversee the strategy, design, and execution of production activities in a dynamic and innovative unit focused on functional planning, prototype development, structural engineering, licensing, validation, and verification processes. You will play a key role in developing industry-leading products and solutions, ensuring compliance, and driving operational excellence. This role requires a balance of technical expertise, strategic insight, and leadership to establish the unit as a preferred production partner in the industry.


Key Responsibilities:

  1. Define and implement a comprehensive production strategy aligned with organizational goals.
  2. Lead the development of prototypes for tools, mechanical systems, electrical systems, and electronics.
  3. Establish and maintain industry-leading standards for structures, documentation, licensing, and validation.
  4. Build partnerships with vendors, regulatory bodies, and industry stakeholders to expand the unit’s capabilities and reputation.
  5. Oversee the design and manufacturing of prototypes, ensuring functionality, quality, and scalability.
  6. Supervise structural analysis and validation of products to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
  7. Ensure documentation, licenses, and verification processes meet industry and governmental standards.
  8. Use advanced tools and technologies for design, simulation, and validation of products and structures.
  9. Implement automated and data-driven production processes for efficiency and quality.
  10. Lead efforts in sustainability by incorporating eco-friendly practices into production workflows.
  11. Recruit, train, and manage a multidisciplinary team of designers, engineers, and validation experts.
  12. Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement within the production unit.
  13. Monitor industry trends and competitor strategies to identify gaps and opportunities for innovation.
  14. Represent the unit in industry forums, trade shows, and client meetings to strengthen its position as a market leader.
  15. Develop scalable production solutions tailored to diverse industries and client needs.

Technical Skills:

  1. Expertise in prototype designing, building, and testing mechanical, electrical, and electronic prototypes.
  2. Proficiency in simulation and validation tools like CAD, CAE, MATLAB, Simulink, and similar tools.
  3. Strong understanding of regulatory and licensing requirements in relevant industries.
  4. Knowledge of QA frameworks such as ISO, Six Sigma, or similar standards.
  5. Familiarity with CNC machining, additive manufacturing, robotics, and IoT integration.

Functional Expertise:

  • Experience in end-to-end production planning, from design to delivery.
  • Proficiency in managing multidisciplinary projects with strict deadlines and budgets.
  • Expertise in documentation and regulatory compliance across industries.
  • Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.
  • Adept at balancing innovation with cost-effective and scalable production solutions.

Basic Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related fields. MBA or equivalent experience in operations management is a plus.
  • 10+ years of experience in production, with at least 5 years in a leadership role overseeing large-scale projects.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills.
  • Proven ability to lead innovation and operational excellence.
