Chief Technologist (CTO)

Position Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and visionary Chief Technology Officer (CTO) / Principal Technologist to lead our technology initiatives and drive innovation across various domains. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of algorithm development, parallel programming, composable applications, new-age technologies, and talent collaborations. The CTO/Principal Technologist will be responsible for overseeing the development of cutting-edge software and hardware solutions, managing ICT infrastructure, ensuring ERP applications meet business needs, enhancing security measures, and fostering STEM training and collaboration initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor a team of technologists, engineers, and software developers to create innovative solutions aligned with our business goals.
• Drive research and development of algorithms, parallel programming techniques, and composable applications to enhance product efficiency and performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop new-age technology solutions and foster innovation throughout the organization.
• Initiate and lead talent collaborations, both internally and externally, to build a culture of continuous learning and technological excellence.
• Oversee the development of embedded software and hardware applications, ensuring seamless integration and optimization.
• Manage ICT infrastructure to guarantee efficient operations and facilitate technology scalability.
• Monitor and improve ERP applications to align with business requirements and enhance operational efficiency.
• Enhance security protocols and practices to safeguard sensitive data and ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Drive the rapid prototype development process using NCLC methodologies.
• Develop and maintain databases to store, manage, and analyze critical business information.
• Promote and support STEM training initiatives to nurture technical talent within the organization.
• Collaborate with external stakeholders to architect effective technical solutions and ensure their successful implementation.
• Utilize project management methodologies and agility principles to manage technology projects from conception to completion.
• Participate in stakeholder meetings to provide technological insights, address concerns, and develop strategic roadmaps.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and adherence to high ethical standards in technology development and implementation.
• Source and evaluate technology partnerships, investments, and collaborations to enhance our product offerings.
• Promote a culture of innovation, creativity, and experimentation within the technology team.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven track record of success as a CTO, Principal Technologist, or similar leadership role.
• Expertise in algorithm development, parallel programming, composable applications, and emerging technologies.
• Strong understanding of embedded software and hardware applications, ICT infrastructure, and ERP systems.
• Experience in security protocols, database management, and agile project management.
• Exceptional leadership and collaboration skills to drive cross-functional teams and talent development.
• Excellent communication skills for stakeholder engagement, presenting complex technical concepts, and team motivation.

Additional Qualifications:

• Certification in project management (e.g., PMP) or relevant technology fields.
• Previous experience in STEM training initiatives or technical education.
• Understanding of regulatory requirements and ethical considerations in technology.
